Hello Hello! We're Max & Jessica
We got married in September of 2023! This is where the venture of Gibson Wedding Studio begun. We searched high and low for wedding stationery that screamed US, but came up short with the lack of creative options. I'm an illustrator (hi, me, Jessica), with my own small business selling artwork and handmade garments, and Max is heavily into home DIY. We couldn't help but think, alot of what makes a wedding we could do ourselves. We didn't choose a wedding stylist, nor a florist - we did a deep dive into the wedding industry and did everything ourselves, saving so much money. The fun we had making all the dried bouquets, centerpieces and even a giant archway piece will now be apart of our wedding journey! We had boxes full of decor ready to go, and on the morning of our wedding, Max and the groomsmen all went to work dressing/setting up the rooms. We also did all our own stationery. Signage and table decor.
The theme of our wedding was very much autumnal rock & roll. Burnt orange, lots of foliage, records, music references and a vintage twist that included a 70's inspired music gig poster as our welcome sign.
